As solstice pools deeply
And the daylight blinks ever so slowly
Numbed fingertips touch faintly
A still, unbounded reach
As the gulls shrillness pierces into silence
And water drops slow to crystal crunch
Breath shortens and hoarseness barks
An everlasting light into the darkness
As the days flutter with a temporal crumble
Moons rustle to fullness and shake themselves down
Creatures, roots and spirits stir
Arcing traces of timelessness across invisible air.
